Responsibilities
Review and understand financial statements in area of responsibility. Provide a reasonable level of assurance of the accuracy of the provided information and be responsive to queries from business partners
Assist management in their analysis and understanding of their reported information and its operational impact
Coordinate with business partners on required monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Partner with business to understand underlying operational activities and drive improvement
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast and close processes
Identify opportunities for financial/ operational improvements across the business, develop plan for improvement, and lead initiative
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university required
2-5 Years in financial analysis environment
Knowledge of accounting principles
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and Power Point) and G/L software, with the ability to build complex models
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to interface with various levels of management, along with excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to take initiative and drive results
Preferred
Advanced degree a plus
Preferably with a multi-location operation
