Responsibilities
Installing, maintaining and configuring databases
Backup and recovery
DR
User management
Patching
Security configuration
Providing technical support for releases and deployments
Support tickets
Manage and/or open new Oracle Service Requests (SR’s) as per customer requirements
Focus on Client SLA’s
Reduce downtime
May need to work in shifts while supporting tickets
Qualification
Required
Location for this position is Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Phoenix AZ, Richardson, TX or Hartford CT. This position may require relocation and/or travel to client/project location
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to 'U.S. persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees
3+ years of experience as EBS administration and monitoring EBS apps on Oracle database
Preferred
Experience optimizing queries and database performance tuning
Experience developing, implementing and maintaining database security
Experience and desire to work closely with team members and customer
