Responsibilities
Design and implement secure, scalable, cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
Build, test, and maintain custom full stack applications, spending most of your time hands-on coding
Develop and support a high-traffic digital front door for Behavioral Health providers
Build and enhance web portals and backend services for providers, brokers, and members
Develop APIs and reusable platform components consumed by multiple product teams
Build net-new functionality from scratch (no ERP or off-the-shelf systems)
Support cloud migrations to Azure, developing software for and in the cloud
Contribute to engineering best practices and mentor other developers
Work independently in a heads-down engineering environment, asking for help when needed
Communicate technical approach, risks, and progress with product and business stakeholders
Apply knowledge of IT and healthcare trends to solution design
Qualification
Required
Authorization to work in the United States on a W-2 basis and does not offer visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Full stack development experience supporting customer-facing web platforms
Strong Java-based backend experience and modern front-end frameworks (Angular)
Experience developing applications using modern Java technologies and standards
Experience building and maintaining APIs and services consumed by multiple teams
Hands-on experience with API-based integrations
Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
SQL Server 2016+
Windows/Linux environments
Cloud-native application design on Microsoft Azure
Experience working in Agile environments, including mentoring other developers
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of IT solution delivery experience, or equivalent
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise cloud integration
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to influence, collaborate, and build alignment across teams
Comfortable assessing risks and recommending solutions
Experience working with vendors and distributed onshore/offshore teams
Proven ability to educate and influence within a matrixed organization
Preferred
Healthcare experience in Utilization and Care Management (Facets, FHIR) is a plus
Azure cloud administration, configuration, and architecture
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
SharePoint integrations
Git (Bitbucket), Jira, Jenkins, Informatica, Unix, scripting tools
Mulesoft or Boomi integrations
JavaScript or PowerShell
Experience working in a product platform model building reusable components
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
