Responsibilities

Bank statement processing and reconciliations
Mortgage statement processing and reconciliations
Verbal verification of banking information
Vendor onboarding and maintenance
Vendor audits (W-9s, 1099 status, TIN/address checks)
1099 preparation and processing
Vendor, owner, entity, and property setups
Assist with filing and payment of annual state filings
Assist with filing and payment of annual business licenses
Assist with real estate tax bill processing
Provide supporting documentation for audit requests
Generate report files for tax preparer
Miscellaneous filing and scanning

Required

Attention to detail and great organizational skills
Forward-thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure
Minimum of 2-3 years of general accounting experience
Proficient with Microsoft applications

Preferred

Commercial real estate accounting is a plus
Knowledge of Yardi software is also a plus
