Inside Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Promote Company Core Values while leading by example
Manage the Inside Sales to support Outside Sales and customers
Set sales goals and quotas for the Inside Sales team
Provide training and coaching to Inside Sales personnel
Work hand in hand with the Engineering Department and Production Scheduling to meet delivery deadlines
Monitor performance and take corrective action as needed
Expected overnight (possible weekend) travel obligations for Trade Shows, Industry Meetings, and special customer events (estimated 15-20 days per calendar year)
Recruitment & Hiring: Identifying, attracting, and hiring talented inside sales team members (estimation, project managers, and order processors)
Onboarding & Training: Developing comprehensive training programs to equip new hires with the necessary skills and knowledge
Performance Management: Setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews
Coaching & Development: Coaching team members to improve their skills and achieve their goals
Sales Strategy Development: Creating effective sales strategies for the Inside Sales team to align with yearly sales goals and objectives
Quota Setting: Setting realistic and achievable sales quotas for individual team members
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving the sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness
CRM Utilization: Ensuring the team effectively utilizes 'Epicor' CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, and customer relationships
Sales Methodology: Implementing proven sales methodologies
One-on-one coaching: Providing personalized coaching and guidance to help team members overcome challenges and achieve their goals
Team Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to share best practices, address issues, and motivate the team
Incentive Programs: Designing and implementing incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers
Quoting and project managing orders
KPUI Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and individual performance (quotes and quote versions)
Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Reporting: Preparing regular sales reports for management, highlighting key metrics and insights

Required

10+ years of Inside Sales/Customer Service experience
Experience with leading a team
Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and distribution channels
Ability to build strong relationships within the organization and distribution model
Process-driven, highly motivated, and result-oriented
Ability to set sales goals and quotas for the Inside Sales team
Experience in providing training and coaching to Inside Sales personnel
Ability to monitor performance and take corrective action as needed
Willingness to travel overnight (possible weekend) for Trade Shows, Industry Meetings, and special customer events (estimated 15-20 days per calendar year)
Experience in creating effective sales strategies for the Inside Sales team
