Responsibilities
Aid or lead conversations with health plans for data acquisition
Aid, lead and/or perform UAT for all new datasets coming to Oak Street Health
Research and suggest solutions for data quality and governance issues related to payer data as used in both data warehouse processes and business decision making
Function as a SME for the subject area specifically hired into
Establish relationships with internal and external partners to obtain and validate quality data
Assist in creating uniform business rules and policies that will be used for Oak Street Health
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3 years of relevant healthcare work experience
Proficient in writing SQL queries and reading stored procedures on large data sets with complex data models
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PowerPivot, functions, VBA)
Database fundamentals experience: knowledgeable in database rules, writing queries, and relational database theory and management (table creation, querying, relational structures)
Ability to manage deadlines, deliverables, and communication with relevant stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred
Experience with manipulating large files and working with missing values in Python (using pandas) are preferred
Experience with Databricks, SQL Server, or Foundry
Bachelor's degree preferred; preferably in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health or Computer Science
