Responsibilities
Review project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to develop precise estimates
Assess material, labor, and equipment costs for glass and glazing systems
Prepare bid packages and pricing proposals following internal guidelines
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure clarity on project requirements and cost considerations
Identify risks and recommend value‑engineering solutions using construction knowledge
Stay current on industry trends, material pricing, and construction best practices
Manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
Participate in client meetings to review proposals and provide expert insights
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 5 years of estimating experience, preferably in glass and glazing systems
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a high level of detail orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Proficiency with estimation software and MS Office tools
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Preferred
Experience with Glass Manager software preferred
