MOHS Clinical Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Assisting surgeons with Mohs histotechnology, including slide preparation, equipment maintenance, quality control documentation, and regulatory compliance
Managing specimen collection, accessioning, and logging to ensure accurate patient identification and specimen integrity
Processing tissue through embedding, sectioning, and staining to produce timely, high-quality diagnostic slides
Identifying opportunities for operational improvement, managing multiple projects, developing proposals and budgets, maintaining schedules and records, and producing accurate analytical reports
Leveraging data analysis and technology to improve workflow efficiency, support decision-making, and ensure reliable, compliant, and high-quality laboratory operations

Required

Bachelor's degree required
6 months of full- or collective part-time experience in Mohs surgery histopathology within the last three years under the supervision of a Mohs micrographic surgeon or 1 year of recent histology clinical or research laboratory experience
2+ years in technical role
