InternTriHealth is a healthcare organization seeking Student Nurse Interns from selected education partners prior to their senior year of nursing education. This role allows student nurses to work alongside a charge nurse, assisting with basic patient care and clerical duties under supervision, while developing their skills as future professional nurses.

Responsibilities
Provide assistance and/or perform basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the supervision of the nurse overseeing their internship
Perform clerical duties and non-direct patient care activities as assigned/directed by an RN
Demonstrate interpersonal skills to communicate with respect and compassion to customers; communicate information through various telecommunication devices and assist in coordinating patient flow
Work additional shifts in the capacity of a Student Nurse PCA when not working directly with the charge nurse partner in the Student Nurse Intern role
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an approved program specific field of study in Nursing
If no longer in the nursing program you were selected from, cannot stay in this position
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Reading and math ability appropriate to the position
Successful completion of Junior year of formal nursing education prior to starting the Student Nurse intern role
