Responsibilities

Design, write, modify, test, and debug software applications
Write maintainable, reliable, reusable, secure, performant code
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture, coding standards and best practices
Contribute to project documentation, including design specifications, and technical documentation

Required

Must be pursuing or have attained an Associate's Degree
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program)
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
Required Majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Proficient in Java and Python
Experience with micro-services architecture, messaging, multi-threading
Familiarity with database management using Postgres or other relational database
Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, including Junit, TestNG, Mockito

Preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Experience with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (Jira)
Experience with back-end framework such as Spring, Spring Boot
Proficiency in a Linux environment
