Responsibilities
Design mission data file reprogramming solutions in support of combat data systems
Translate real-world needs into technical specifications
Develop and implement a transformative approach to mission data file updates
Merge systems engineering and data fusion to create reprogramming tools that accelerate sensor fusion, combat identification, and weapon cueing or targeting
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in an engineering, technical acquisition, software, or data analysis position
2+ years of experience in engineering design or requirements development
Knowledge of sensor data
Knowledge of DoD acquisition and systems engineering processes
Ability to develop Concept of Operations, define system requirements, and oversee implementation of the technical approach to mission data file reprogramming
Ability to communicate and coordinate across large stakeholder groups
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
Preferred
Experience with project management, acquisition support, or engineering with DoD aviation related systems
Experience with weapon system sensor data, data fusion, combat ID, mission data files, or reprogramming labs
Knowledge of the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise
Knowledge of AI and machine learning approaches to multi-source data fusion for combat ID
