Responsibilities
Demonstrates Xaloy values and shares the organizational commitment to ensure quality products and processes
Collaborate with EHS, engineering, and operations teams to ensure maintenance and engineering practices support a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment
Directs and oversees the maintenance and engineering activities of the site
Lead site continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving activities
Effectively utilizes resources and project management tools and processes to meet project objectives, develops, analyzes data, and distributes status reports including action items, schedules, and budgets and ensures collaboration and communication with all stakeholders
Support capital equipment projects by contributing to equipment selection, layout planning, installation, and commissioning with a focus on maintainability and lifecycle cost
Develops maintenance technician’s abilities to troubleshoot and problem solve, identifying competencies required, existing gaps, and determining development path to ensure appropriate knowledge level to support manufacturing requirements
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the preventive maintenance (PM) program, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and reliability
Use CMMS tools (e.g., MPulse) to manage maintenance workflows, analyze performance data, and drive accountability through metrics and reporting
Analyze downtime, maintenance trends, and production data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that directly impact shipment performance
Supports new product and process development while ensuring effective handoff and implementation to manufacturing through effective communication and processes
Identify and implement process improvements across manufacturing operations using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and support EBITDA targets
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including AutoCAD drawings, PM procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Provides engineering drawings in AutoCAD, and engineering calculations to support projects as assigned or identified
Performs other responsibilities as assigned and/or as needed to support company objectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years related experience, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
A proven background in problem resolution (root cause analysis), as part of a team
