GetWhys is a VC-backed SaaS company building AI-powered customer research and messaging tools for product marketers. The Fullstack Software Engineer will design and build features for their core application, collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver user-facing functionality.

Responsibilities

Build high-quality, user facing product experiences end-to-end
You’ll build and maintain scalable web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React and backend services
Collaborate closely with product and design to understand problems and deliver thoughtful solutions
Contribute to architectural decisions as the product and team grows
Help integrate and evolve LLM-powered workflows, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) where appropriate
Write clean, maintainable code and improve developer experience over time

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer working on user-facing products
Experience building and shipping production web applications
Comfortable operating in a startup environment with ambiguity and ownership

Preferred

Familiarity with RAG concepts (embeddings, retrieval strategies, evaluation) is a plus
Experience building or prototyping LLM-powered workflows using foundation models such as OpenAi, Gemini, Anthropic or Deepseek
Startup experience, especially having helped build a product from scratch or early stages
