Bookkeeper / Project Accountant

Responsibilities
Maintaining day-to-day financials of Company
Manage accounts payable/receivable
Process payments, create invoices, and prepare deposits
Oversee payroll by collecting and submitting hours from Ajera to payroll provider
Set up and maintain employee paperwork
Tracking engineering and business license renewals
Coordination with business accountant for ordinary and year-end tax-related items
Support clients with forms and documentation as required
Maintenance of all data within Ajera
Light general office duties
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with Ajera Accounting and Project Management software
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel)
Motivated, independently productive, and willing to take on new challenges
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-first attitude
Preferred
Previous experience at a consulting, engineering, or design firm preferred
