Responsibilities
A Program Manager oversees programs to ensure the products are built in accordance with customer specifications
The Program Manager has overall "end to end" responsibility for the success of the program. The Program Manager meets with cross-functional team members on a regular basis to review program status, identify/mitigate program risks, and plan future tasks and actions
This position is also responsible for maintaining regular verbal and written communications with customers, key internal stakeholders, and the program sponsor
The Program Manager is ultimately responsible for the overall program performance and success
The Program Manager contributes technically to and influences cross-functional teams and individuals in fast paced environments, while demonstrating effective leadership and interpersonal skills and providing clear and concise
The Program Manager also supports "bid and proposal" activities and prepares customer requested quotes for new and follow-on programs
