Responsibilities
Performing a variety of accounting and clerical duties focused on the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions
Reviewing and verifying invoices and check requests, sorting, coding, and matching invoices, and setting invoices up for payment
Entering and uploading invoices into accounting systems, tracking expenses, and processing expense reports
Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date and researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintaining accurate vendor files, corresponding with vendors, and responding to inquiries
Completing any additional tasks as appropriate and reporting to the department supervisor
Qualification
Required
Accounts payable or general accounting experience. OR EDUCATION IN ACCOUNTING
Are proficient in data entry and data management
Have general knowledge of Microsoft Office
