Responsibilities

Inspect petroleum storage tank systems to verify compliance with pertinent codes, regulations and statutes
Ensure that fuel purchasers receive the correct quantity and quality of product purchased
Respond to emergencies and customer complaints
Perform routine inspections of service stations and bulk storage plants to verify compliance with requirements pertaining to underground and aboveground storage tanks

Required

Current, valid Colorado State certification or license in a trade related to the work assigned to the position
Four (4) years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position
Must be a Colorado resident at time of application
You must pass a thorough background check prior to employment which will include the E-Verify process
A motor vehicle record check will be conducted in addition to the standard background check
The person selected for this position must maintain an unrestricted Colorado driver's license and be able to operate a state vehicle for the purposes of traveling to in-state remote work sites
Candidates must be physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis during their assigned shift

Knowledge of Regulations and common industry practices

Preferred
