Responsibilities
Work closely with an experienced engineer to execute one or two specific projects which you will own from start to finish
Work on improving the site’s safety systems and procedures
Assist with other longer-term projects to achieve a well-rounded experience
Manage internal and external work to complete projects within agreed-upon timelines and budget
Carry out any other duties which are within the intern’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

Qualification
Required
Working towards a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field
Minimum Overall GPA of 2.7 required
Demonstrated leadership skills with a true career aspiration to be a leader
Demonstrate a safety culture mindset for improving the plant
Must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required
Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential
