Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end talent lifecycle by recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top-tier Account Executives and Systems Engineers to meet the evolving demands of the SLED West business
Lead the team to achieve annual bookings and new logo targets, maintaining a rigorous 4X pipeline-to-quota ratio through precise forecasting and active POC management
Build and sustain strategic alliances with channel partner principals and leadership, ensuring Pure is the preferred partner for their most critical public sector accounts
Provide executive-level direction on complex sales cycles, coordinating internal resources and participating in high-stakes presentations to close business and expand our footprint
Foster a culture of accountability and high performance by managing team KPIs, conducting weekly pipeline reviews, and ensuring every team member is positioned to over-achieve their quota
Qualification
Required
Expert-level ability to lead field sales teams within the IT infrastructure or storage industry, specifically focused on navigating the nuances of the SLED market
Exceptional persuasive skills with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to C-suite IT leaders and public sector stakeholders
A proven track record of identifying high-potential talent and developing associates into top-performing sales professionals
Mastery of CRM tools and data-driven decision-making to identify root causes, solve sales bottlenecks, and execute complex territory strategies
