Responsibilities
Model and support a culture of inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing
Prioritize registrar functions while managing experiential learning in support of career-related engagement for students
Collaborate across CALS Student Services, attending curriculum committee meetings and working with faculty and advisors to ensure that academic and career requirements are accurately tracked and communicated
Maintain academic records and registration processes, supporting the graduation clearance process, applying transfer and advanced credits to student records, and handling curriculum data and policy questions
Administer and verify Engaged, Experiential, and Entrepreneurial (E3) graduation milestone applications, oversee course-based and non-course experiential learning opportunities, and process study abroad course credit
Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff in both domains
Manage classroom and exam scheduling for CALS using the university’s scheduling tool, 25Live
Coordinate with course coordinators and central scheduling staff to resolve space conflicts, ensure policy compliance, and support effective use of scheduling systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and up to 2 years of experience in higher education student services with an in-depth understanding of student records
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting the efforts of an overall team
Strong leadership skills and initiative; ability to work independently and collaboratively
Understanding of FERPA and other applicable laws and regulations; ability to interpret, apply, and provide guidance on policies
Meticulous attention to detail
Accurate, organized, and well-spoken, with experience that demonstrates sound judgment, creativity, management, diplomacy, problem-solving skills, and resilience
Honesty, integrity, and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
Outstanding written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders throughout the institution
Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and well-being
Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working in a registrar's office
Software knowledge: Stellic, Microsoft Office, Excel, Canva, Salesforce application, CourseLeaf CLSS
