Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Establish and adhere to month end close processes and timelines
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
Accounts Payable/Receivable
General Ledger Transactions
Revenue and Expenditure Variance Analysis
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Standard Cost Accounting
Qualification
Required
1-2 years as a Controller/Assistant Controller or equivalent (3-5 years working experience as a Finance/Accounting Manager or experience as a strong Senior Accountant with an emphasis on reporting)
BS degree in Accounting
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred
CPA or Manufacturing experience a plus
