HR GENERALIST/RECRUITER
Jackson Oil & Solvents, Inc. is focused on smooth processes and systems for success. As the HR Generalist/Recruiter, you will assist in monitoring all Human Resource functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues
Oversee recruitment efforts, from workforce planning to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate and new hire experience
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions in partnership with leadership
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies
Develop, implement, and refine HR policies, programs, and procedures to support organizational objectives with the assistance from executive management
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
Assist in compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity
Assisting with biweekly payroll with maintaining time cards, PTO, pay/deduction changes
Support training and development initiatives to foster employee growth and engagement
Track and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Lead or support HR projects, attendance, engagement surveys, and process improvement
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
3-5 years human resource experience
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of payroll and related processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality
