Responsibilities
Lead in developing, organizing, and refining high-quality proposals, qualifications, and presentations targeted to clients
Collaborate closely with marketing and business development teams, taking on more complex proposal initiatives and actively supporting pursuit strategies
Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines, guiding and supporting other team members in their tasks
Assist with any number of marketing-related projects under the guidance of the Director of Business Development and Market Leaders, Principals, and technical staff
Leverage marketing systems and tools to streamline processes, offering insights to improve efficiency across proposal workflows
Contribute to key projects and strengthen AEI’s market positioning and client engagement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field
5-10 years of experience in professional services marketing and proposals writing, preferably within the AEC industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and in-depth knowledge of marketing tools
Strong Adobe InDesign Knowledge: advanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
Graphic Design Skills: Strong graphic design capabilities
CRM Familiarity: Familiarity with CRM databases (e.g., Deltek, Salesforce, Cosential/Unanet)
Experience in the AEC industry
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Effective working individually and within team environments
