We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Bloomington Headquarters, responsible for supporting products throughout their full lifecycle and ensuring they meet performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability needs.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain required documentation (Manufacturing Drawings, supporting documentation for product use, and any useful drawings or models to support sales) for current and new products
Maintain organized details of Blackwoods design standards and intents for new and existing products and apply to all new product design reviews
Help ensure 'Form, Fit, and Function' of all products
Help with BOM and part number clarity and explanation with associated finance or sales team or tools for cross functional accuracy when ordering parts or assemblies
Strong communication skills and ability to be flexible with priority changes
Qualification
Required

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Catia, equivalent)
Background in product, manufacturing, or design engineering
Basic understanding of static loads, material properties, and fastening requirements
Ability to think critically and solve design challenges with practical, manufacturable solutions
