Responsibilities
Responsible for all building floor maintenance for the Regional Center
Keeps all floor equipment in the proper location, locked up when not in use, and in good working condition. Ensures that storage areas are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
Sets up a schedule to keep all floors properly buffed and visibly well-maintained
Exercises good judgment in solving problems and working with others
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A High School Diploma or GED
Experience in custodial or housekeeping work that is directly related to the area of employment
Preferred
Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial or housekeeping tasks
Knowledge of how to properly strip and wax a floor
Knowledge of custodial and housekeeping standards and requirements
Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment
Skill in the use of cleaning tools and equipment
Ability to keep accurate written records
Ability to train new employees in the proper performance of their duties
