Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver proposals and formal bids in line with pricing guidelines, ensuring timely responses to meet client expectations
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to create innovative solutions and initiate activities by entering orders into the ERP System
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with clients to secure business opportunities while utilizing Sales Force (CRM Tool) to pursue sales leads
Foster client satisfaction through relationship-building, collaborative selling, and prompt issue resolution, escalating when necessary
Leverage tactical and strategic tools to optimize order intake and profitability, while supporting regional forecasting and business improvement initiatives
Provide pricing, lead time, and inventory recommendations to the Regional Parts Manager based on market feedback and assist with various tasks to enhance the Marketing and Sales Department’s effectiveness

Required

Associate's degree in business or technical field, or High School Diploma/GED and appropriate technical experience (such as reading drawings, looking at manuals and viewing specifications)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills in the English language
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints to meet deadlines while being detail-oriented
Willingness to travel up to 15% domestic and international to customer sites
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business or related curriculum
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in parts operations, marketing & sales and/or customer service or equivalent field. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level
Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials
Experience with Oracle and/or SAP
Fluent in a second language
Working knowledge and understanding of Siemens/Dresser-Rand's Oil & Gas products, services and equipment or Steam Turbines, Trenton Legacy Products and/or Gimpel Valves
