Founding Engineer
Threes enables digital IP monetization for premium content creators and is backed by top investors including Andreesen Horowitz. They are seeking a Full-Stack Founding Engineer to own the technical design and delivery of their enterprise software platform, contributing to product development and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications
Own greenfield product development: take new products from concept → architecture → implementation → launch
Build agentic / LLM-based automation workflows, including orchestration of multi-step tasks and tool integrations
Integrate best-in-class developer tools into our engineering process (e.g., CI/CD, observability, testing automation, AI-assisted development workflows)
Collaborate with the team to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Ensure quality through testing, observability, and code reviews
Mentor and guide junior engineers as the team grows and contribute to recruiting efforts
Contribute to the evolution of our data platform and scalable ML/Computer Vision systems as needed
Qualification
Required
Degree in CS or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of full-stack experience building production-quality applications
Strong Python skills (required)
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React / Next.js
Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, system design, scalability, reliability
Hands-on builder with excellent technical judgment and communication skills
Preferred
Web crawling / scraping pipelines (e.g., ScraPy, Zyte, Browserbase)
Data orchestration platforms (e.g., Airflow, Dagster)
Data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
Jupyter notebooks / data exploration workflows
Experience building LLM tooling, automation pipelines, or agentic systems in production
