Senior Regulatory Program Manager

They are seeking a Senior Regulatory Program Manager to lead complex regulatory initiatives in financial services, ensuring high-quality outcomes while coordinating between Legal, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Lead regulatory and risk-focused programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring high-quality, audit-ready outcomes
Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to align execution with enterprise regulatory standards
Lead process and controls assessments, including documentation, evaluation, and enhancement
Identify control gaps and execution risks; support development and tracking of remediation strategies
Support regulatory exam readiness activities, including preparation, response coordination, and remediation tracking
Establish and maintain execution discipline through integrated plans, risk and issue management, and dependency tracking
Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans and decision-ready materials
Develop executive- and board-level communications, including governance updates and regulatory status reporting
Facilitate working sessions and stakeholder forums to drive alignment, accountability, and progress
Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, balancing regulatory rigor with practical execution
Manage competing priorities in fast-moving, high-stakes environments
Contribute to WorkWell’s internal delivery standards and project management best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
8–12+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, operational risk, controls, or regulatory change
Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in highly regulated environments
Experience supporting regulatory exams and formal regulator interactions
Strong understanding of process and controls design, assessment, and remediation
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—able to influence without direct authority
Highly detail-oriented with strong judgment and a bias toward execution
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
Prior consulting experience or equivalent client-facing leadership required
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new client environments
Willingness to travel up to 25%, as needed
