Part-Time Technical Research & Analysts
Penn State University is inviting applications for part-time Technical Research & Analysts within the Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems. The successful candidates will develop and evaluate data-driven assets, utilizing technical scripting and analytical research to enhance digital workflows.

Responsibilities
AI Prototyping & Testing: Use Generative AI and AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs) to build, test, and troubleshoot technical assignments and business logic
Data Engineering: Develop and anonymize synthetic or public datasets (Kaggle, Open Data) for project use-cases
Technical Research: Design and clean surveys to track user confidence and evaluate the performance of AI-augmented tasks
Content Development: Create polished technical documentation, including prompt-engineering guides and software screenshots
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled Penn State graduate student
AI & Logic: Proficiency in prompt engineering and auditing AI-generated code
Technical Fluency: Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization
Research Literacy: Experience with survey data collection and basic data cleaning
