Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-performance Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular and React to solve complex business logic challenges
Actively implement AI-driven development practices (e.g., automated code generation, intelligent refactoring, and AI-assisted debugging) to accelerate delivery cycles
Partner with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Engineers to translate wireframes into scalable, reusable component libraries
Drive code and design reviews, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean code architecture
Own the UI lifecycle from functional prototyping and advanced scripting to deploying production-ready, accessible interfaces
Elicit complex requirements and design robust system integrations that consume secure data services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Five (5) years of experience as Lead Developer, User Interface Developer or Software Engineer
5+ years of deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Angular, and/or React, with a strong command of object-oriented principles
Proven experience with unit testing frameworks and designing automated functional/system integration tests
Experience building complex, data-heavy applications that require high availability and performance optimization
Preferred
Current or prior Labcorp experience preferred
Familiarity with healthcare-specific data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and a solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
Deep experience with complex state management libraries such as NgRx, Redux, or RxJS in large-scale enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1+ guidelines to ensure inclusive design for users with varying needs
Experience building or maintaining an internal Design System or UI Kit (using tools like Storybook) to ensure visual consistency across multiple platforms
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker) to better collaborate with platform teams
Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or working with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures within a front-end context
