Responsibilities
Lead revenue assurance and technical accounting for a complex, multi-line SaaS platform
Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract reviews, and compliance across business units
Manage purchase accounting, integration, and consolidation for recent and future acquisitions
Direct a team of 3 (Manager, Senior Revenue Accountant, Analyst) to ensure accurate revenue reporting
Support financial close processes, technical memos, and GAAP/IFRS compliance
Partner with sales, legal, and operations on deal structuring and revenue judgments
Drive process improvements and automation in revenue workflows
Prepare revenue-related disclosures and support audit and compliance activities
Qualification
Required
8+ years in accounting with strong technical revenue expertise; public/private mix preferred (open to strong public profiles)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA required
Deep ASC 606 knowledge
Strong US GAAP and revenue recognition standards
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders
Driven, strategic, and thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
Local to the Boston area for hybrid work (3 days/week onsite)
Preferred
Public/private mix preferred (open to strong public profiles)
Cap software and M&A experience a plus
NetSuite/Salesforce proficiency preferred
International revenue a plus
Benefits
$185,000–$220,000 base + 20% bonus + equity and strong benefits.
