Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze alerts generated by Data Loss Prevention technologies to identify potential data security incidents
Perform initial triage, validation, and escalation of DLP events in accordance with internal processes
Partner with senior DLP and data security leaders to support incident reviews and decision-making
Provide actionable feedback to technologists on DLP policy tuning and rule effectiveness
Draft and maintain DLP playbooks, job aids, and operational documentation
Prepare DLP program metrics and dashboards for routine and ad hoc reporting
Support data analysis requests from DLP leadership by synthesizing information from multiple data sources
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data analysis, information security, or data protection roles
Hands-on knowledge of Data Loss Prevention platforms such as Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Island.io
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data analysis techniques
Experience monitoring alerts, performing incident triage, and supporting escalation workflows
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills
Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights
Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
