Responsibilities
Administers assigned recreation activities and assists the Site Supervisor in organizing and implementing programs for children enrolled
Demonstrates responsibility for well being of participants
Assists Site Supervisor in preparing weekly attendance reports, financial statements and deposits
Attends monthly staff meetings. Carries out a continuous effort to improve operations, work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide continuous improvement and Customer-driven service
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Skill in interpersonal relations
Skill in oral and written communication
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field
Basic skills typically associated with a high school education
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting light and occasionally heavy objects, climbing ladders, using tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
Ability to distinguish between shades of color
Ability to maintain equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing, or crouching
Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, ramps, requiring body agility
Ability to move about on hands, knees, or hands and feet
Ability to bend body forward by bending leg, spine
Ability to perceive attributes of objects by touch with skin, fingertips
Ability to apply pressure to objects with fingers, palm
Ability to pick, hold, or work with whole hand
