AR Specialist- Temporary to permanent (21073)
Cantex is seeking an AR Collection Specialist responsible for managing outstanding accounts receivable balances. The role focuses on collections related to Managed Care and Insurance, ensuring compliance and accuracy in billing processes.

Responsibilities
Review outstanding accounts on agings to determine accounts for collections
Work outstanding claims for next level of appeal/collection
Answering provider questions and ability to make collection calls as needed
Ensure billing is accurate, complete and in compliance with State and Federal regulations
Coordinate third party billing with nursing facility personnel, as necessary
Communicates and works in cooperation with fiscal intermediaries, state officials and Insurance companies
Compiles and prepares data and reports as required
Strives to meet goals every month
Ensures compliance with Cantex policies and procedures including Financial Management Systems
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the AR Manager, Director of AR, or CFO
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma is required; a college degree or equivalent advanced courses are preferred
Prior skilled nursing facility billing experience required
Understanding of UB04, ICD10 and insurance portals
Strong knowledge of billing software (MyUnity/PCC preferred)
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload
Initiative-taking, organized, and detail-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
