Responsibilities
Responsible for the development, management and growth of targeted market segments including natural and specialty retailers, conventional supermarkets, specialty distributors as well as alternative trades
Manage and grow existing accounts through responsible and proactive account management
Work with brokers to develop and manage opportunities on an account or segment specific basis
Assist with planning and participating in food tradeshows (3 to 5 per year)
Work with logistics and order processing teams to ensure highest level of customer service
Handle all aspects of vendor and item setup for new and existing accounts
Assist with planning and managing promotional activities for key accounts
Conduct key account presentations for new and existing business
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience selling consumer products
Strong understanding of the specialty food segment as well as experience in selling to major retailers and distributors
Strong skills in Business Development, Sales Strategies, and Account Management
Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills with the ability to build meaningful client relationships
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address client needs effectively
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Must be resourceful, highly dependable, efficient and detailed oriented
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
