Responsibilities
Conducting extensive research using open-source intelligence and proprietary databases
Incorporating findings into written reports on individuals, companies and other deliverables to clients
Supporting the team in high-stakes, time-sensitive investigations and major transactional due diligence matters
Qualification
Required
Graduating seniors from all majors are welcome to apply
Focus on journalism, business, criminology, library science, political science or international relations is preferred
Individuals with graduate degrees are also welcome
Superb writing and analytical abilities
Ability to conduct extensive research using open-source intelligence and proprietary databases
Capability to incorporate findings into written reports on individuals, companies and other deliverables
Ability to support the team in high-stakes, time-sensitive investigations and major transactional due diligence matters
Preferred
Prior journalism, investigative, due diligence, or legal research experience
Conducting investigative research on individuals and companies using open source intelligence methods
Identifying and/or interviewing individuals with information on a specific subject matter
Searching U.S. (federal and state) and international court websites
Utilizing proprietary databases such as LexisNexis, Bloomberg, TLO, IRB, Westlaw, Edgar, etc
Extensive Internet search engine and social media research
Foreign language capabilities
