Responsibilities
Maintain CDM (Charge Description Master) ensuring all data elements are accurate and comply with all payor and regulatory requirements
Review and interpret CMS billing and coding rules, to remain compliant and accurate to minimize incorrect billing
Review documentation and resolve charge capture errors generated in work queues
Manual charge entry for various workflows
Work collaboratively with other teams inside Patient Accounting and broader Revenue Cycle for charge capture related requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Must reside in MA, NH, VT, ME or RI
CDM knowledge, knowing CPT and revenue code and their functions (basic knowledge)
2+ year of rev integrity and denials Experience
