Test Engineering Intern
AEVEX Aerospace is hiring a Test Engineering Intern to work in their Tactical Systems engineering department. The role involves assisting with flight testing, collaborating with engineering teams, and participating in product development while gaining valuable skills in aircraft design, avionics, and autonomy.

Responsibilities
Assist with and observe all facets of flight testing, from initial planning and operations through execution, data collection, reduction and analysis, report writing and recommendations to ensure on-time completion
Assist with reviewing and identifying potential issues relating to modification packages for air vehicles, ground control stations, and other support equipment
Assist with assessing and/or evaluating both subjective and objective data acquired through test execution
Collaborate with manager to establish internship goals and steps on achieving those goals throughout duration of the program
Performing field tests on equipment and document results
Research solutions to new products components and recommend upgrades
Perform other duties as assigned
Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule]

Qualification

Recent degree or current enrollment in an engineering program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems Engineering or related field
Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
