OneCrew is transforming how America's paving contractors build the roads and parking lots we all rely on. They are seeking a strategic operator to drive growth initiatives and optimize internal operations, partnering directly with leadership to scale the company's strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
You'll own the full lifecycle of high-impact projects that create new sources of value for OneCrew:
Build from zero to one: Identify opportunities, design business models, validate with customers, and launch new offerings that expand our revenue base
Own commercial outcomes: Whether it's a new product line, service offering, or go-to-market motion, you'll be responsible for proving product-market fit and driving early traction
Execute end-to-end: Get hands-on with everything from customer discovery to pricing strategy to sales execution—this isn't a "strategy only" role
Scale what works: Once you've proven a concept, build the systems, processes, and teams needed to scale it sustainably
Partner directly with our CEO to quarterback the critical initiatives that determine whether we hit our ambitious growth targets:
Own financial analysis and reporting: Build the models, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure that give leadership and investors confidence in every major decision
Drive operational excellence: Identify bottlenecks, refresh inefficient processes, and implement solutions that unlock team productivity and company growth
Quarterback cross-functional initiatives: Stand up effective use of data and AI across teams, coordinate launches, and solve the complex problems that inevitably arise in hypergrowth
Qualification
Required
3-7+ years of experience in management consulting and/or strategic operations at a high-growth startup
Proven analytical capabilities—you're exceptional with Excel/financial modeling and can structure ambiguous problems
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. You can synthesize complex information and present recommendations clearly
Track record of driving projects to completion in fast-paced environments
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new domains quickly
Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco and work in-office 3+ days per week
Preferred
Prior experience building or launching a new business line, product, or service
Any sales or business development experience (even if not in a formal sales role)
Experience in B2B SaaS, field service software, or vertical SaaS
Familiarity with marketing concepts (lead generation, demand gen, digital marketing)
Background in construction, trades, or other blue-collar industries
Experience with common go-to-market and operations tools
