IT Support Analyst
Yoakum Community Hospital has been providing healthcare services since 1922 and operates as a not-for-profit hospital. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the IT infrastructure, ensuring efficient operation of hardware and software, and supporting end-users in their use of hospital applications.

Responsibilities
Advanced troubleshooting skills with computer software, hardware and peripherals, Microsoft operating systems, and computer hardware deployment tools for operating system images
Experience with network devices (switches, routers, etc), telecommunication systems (including cell phones, iPads, Polycom phones, etc.), AS400, and Windows server support preferred
Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems, whether hardware or software
Maintain accurate information/data regarding end user issues within the tracking system and update asset information/data when equipment is moved, added or changed
Maintain and support the IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, hardware, software, printing, faxing, scanning, mobile devices, and telecommunication systems
Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice
Abide by Yoakum Community Hospital policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook and assure that all tasks performed are in compliance with related state and federal guidelines, rules and regulations
Ability to install and maintain all necessary programs, such as Windows, Office, Virus protection, encryption, core clinical and financial applications, etc
Develop and maintain good working relationships and interact positively and productively with teams across organizational lines
Support individuals in maximizing their skills in use of both hospital computer applications and personal computer systems
Maintains and enforces security concepts and processes such as risk assessment and mitigation strategies, security control techniques, and technologies
Installs, maintains, and supports end-user hardware and applications including Microsoft Operating Systems, business applications, and computer hardware
Qualification
Required

Demonstrate working knowledge of client application deployment tools for operating system images, Microsoft operating systems, and computer hardware
Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems, whether hardware or software

Preferred
Associates Degree in computer related field preferred
A+ or other related certifications preferred
Three Years Of Information Technology Experience Preferred
Experience with network devices (switches, routers, etc), telecommunication systems (including cell phones, iPads, Polycom phones, etc.), AS400, and Windows server support preferred
HITECH And HIPAA Security Experience Preferred
Knowledge of fundamental information security concepts and processes such as risk assessment and mitigation strategies, security control techniques, and technologies preferred
