Responsibilities
Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to inform pricing decisions
Develop pricing models and simulations to forecast revenue and profit outcomes from pricing changes
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotions and assess their effectiveness on pricing
Monitor and report on pricing performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations
Perform price elasticity analyses to determine the impact of price changes on sales volumes and profitability
Conduct regular audits of pricing strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Stay updated on industry developments and economic conditions affecting pricing and market competitiveness
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar analytical role
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field like distribution
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and decision-making
Proficiency in Excel and pricing software or statistical analysis tools
Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting findings and recommendations
Preferred
Experience working or supporting sales representatives, sales department, or sales support would be a big plus
