Responsibilities

Manage project accounting for multiple active projects
Oversee job costing, labor/material allocations, and budget‑to‑actual tracking
Maintain WIP schedules and support revenue alignment
Prepare progress billings and validate project invoices
Support monthly close and project‑related journal entries
Collaborate with PMs to ensure accurate financial reporting
Contribute to improving accounting workflows and tools
Provide oversight or guidance to junior staff as needed

Qualification

Required

3 - 5+ years of project‑based accounting experience (construction, engineering, or similar)
Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and project financial cycles
Experience with project accounting systems (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Foundation, Procore, or similar)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities
Strong communication skills with both finance and non‑finance teams
