Responsibilities

Greet walk-in and call-in customers warmly and professionally
Listen carefully to customer needs and provide accurate solutions and product recommendations
Support inside and outside sales by answering inbound calls and order requests
Fabricate and fulfill orders according to specifications and quality standards
Double-check all order details before release to prevent errors, returns, or rework
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive attitude
Receive, check in, and put away inventory using established procedures
Pick, stage, pack, and assist with shipping orders accurately
Perform regular stock checks, audits, and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy
Keep warehouse, staging, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly
Make decisions that align with our mission, core values, and 'right the first time, every time' standard
Treat customers, teammates, and vendors with professionalism, dignity, and respect
Take ownership of responsibilities—communicate clearly, follow through, and fix mistakes quickly
Show up as an asset to the team by being dependable, prepared, and detail-oriented
Commit to learning products, processes, and skills that improve performance over time

Required

Strong customer service and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to work both at the counter and in the warehouse
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to daily workflow changes
Ownership mindset—problems get solved, not passed along
Comfortable standing, lifting (up to ~50 lbs), and working on your feet

Preferred

Customer service, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn technical products is a plus
Basic computer skills; ERP experience a plus (Prophet 21 preferred)
Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained)
