Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain complex SSIS packages for data integration and data migration
Optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements
Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and complex queries
Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms in SSIS
Support and enhance existing ETL processes and troubleshoot production issues
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile or SDLC environment
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience in SSIS development
Strong expertise in SQL Server (2012/2016/2019+)
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema)
Experience with ETL performance tuning and optimization
Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization
Experience working with large datasets and complex data transformations
Familiarity with SSIS deployment models, configurations, and environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or cloud-based ETL tools
Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
