Responsibilities
Design and implement new features while improving quality of technical products and applications
Serve as a hands-on developer on an agile squad and participate in agile ceremonies
Collaborate with software engineers to define system architectures and design solutions
Develop software that meets code quality standards and metrics
Practice test-driven development
Contribute to communities of practice by following standards, reviewing code, and sharing knowledge
Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable code
Partner with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement
Remain current on relevant IT trends
Assist with problem resolution for end users and customers
Contribute to the definition of operational procedures for software development
Maintain controls and documentation to ensure audit compliance
Qualification
Required
1 to 3 years of experience with Java 17 or higher
1 to 3 years of experience with Java Spring and Spring Boot
1 to 3 years of experience in microservice-oriented backend architecture and development
1 to 2 years of experience working in agile or scrum teams
Prior experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrog
Experience with containerization and building Docker images
Understanding of software development methodologies
Understanding of security best practices
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable field; or equivalent experience
