Orion Placement is a U.S.-based startup focused on building a portfolio of healthcare-adjacent, intelligence-driven companies. They are seeking a Founding Sales Director to own the U.S. go-to-market strategy, develop partnerships, and build a high-performing sales team.

Responsibilities
Own U.S. go to market strategy and new revenue generation
Build pipeline, run discovery, present value, negotiate, and close high value partnerships
Develop and refine messaging, positioning, pricing, and sales process with leadership
Identify and secure strategic partners across targeted regional and niche markets
Build and manage a high performing sales team over time including hiring and coaching
Forecast revenue, track KPIs, and drive consistent execution in a remote environment
Qualification
Required
7+ years of B2B sales, business development, or revenue leadership experience
Proven track record closing complex or high ticket deals
Comfortable owning the full sales cycle from outbound through close
Strong executive presence and ability to sell to senior decision makers
Highly self directed and accountable in a remote role
Preferred
Experience in a startup or early stage environment where you built or scaled revenue
