The Financial Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations, partner with the CFO, and enhance financial controls and visibility while supporting the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

Own and deliver a timely monthly close, including reconciliations and GAAP-compliant financial statements

Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting

Lead cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and billing accuracy

Establish and maintain strong internal controls, tax compliance, and audit readiness

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with the CFO

Oversee job costing, inventory controls, and project-level financial tracking where applicable

Optimize and maintain core accounting and operational systems

Act as a finance partner to non-financial leaders, translating financial results into business insights

Manage and develop the accounting team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within mid-sized, privately held or PE-backed businesses

Experience with multi-entity environments and B2B services models

Strong systems experience (ERP and operational tools); exposure to job costing or percentage-of-completion accounting is a plus

Hands-on leader with strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently

Confident communicator with the ability to influence across functions
