SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert
Swoon is actively seeking a SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team. The role involves owning platform design, configuration, optimization, and operational best practices for SigmaFlow workflows, as well as troubleshooting complex production issues and supporting integrations with enterprise data platforms.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary SigmaFlow SME, owning platform design, configuration, optimization, and operational best practices
Design, build, and maintain SigmaFlow workflows for batch and near-real-time data ingestion, transformation, and analytics
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including workflow failures, data quality problems, and performance bottlenecks
Design and support integrations between SigmaFlow and enterprise data platforms, including relational and non-relational databases
Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, data models, and Python-based automation to support analytics and downstream systems
Partner with architects and engineering teams to support end-to-end data architectures, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and long-term platform stability
This is a hands-on SME role supporting mission-critical data platforms
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data engineering, workflow orchestration, or analytics platforms, with deep, hands-on SigmaFlow expertise (design, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting)
Proven ability to build, support, and optimize SigmaFlow workflows in large-scale, high-availability production environments
Strong SQL skills, including relational data modeling, complex query development, and performance tuning to support SigmaFlow pipelines
Working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, and integrations related to SigmaFlow workflows
Experience supporting enterprise data platforms with strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response best practices
Ability to operate independently as a trusted SigmaFlow SME, providing Tier 3 support and technical guidance in mission-critical environments
