Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate production of application and real estate disclosures for residential mortgage and home equity loans
Order required property and borrower documentation
Coordinate the management of the processing pipeline with lending teams to ensure documentation is requested and received timely from the customer
Initiate file submissions to underwriting to obtain approved with conditions or approved loan status
Coordinate with lending teams to ensure prior to close loan conditions are addressed and satisfied in a timely manner
Independently comprehend and interpret mortgage compliance regulations
Proactively engage supervisor and team members with questions
Review team member work for accuracy
Organize and maintain accurately indexed real estate loan files
Assist with Quality Control functions of the department as needed
Participate in cross-functional training to support all areas within the department
Champion change management initiatives and serve as a role model for change in the organization
Qualification
Required
Secondary education in related field preferred
Two or more years of relevant work experience or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to conduct relationships in a manner that ensures cooperation and positive results
Demonstrate a high degree of concern for professional and innovative customer service
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and teammates
