Responsibilities
Assisting in the design and development of a single-use precision mechanical assembly of machined metal parts and molded plastic components
Prototype sourcing, building, testing, and documentation
Contributing to manufacturing process optimization and test development
Qualification
Required
Current biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering student with 1 or 2 semesters of education remaining to complete their intended degree
Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and design (SolidWorks preferred)
Understanding and prior use of precision dimensioning and tolerancing
Strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with machined metal and molded plastic components
